Hot, Hot, Chili Con Queso - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (1 lb. 13 oz.) can tomatoes
    1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
    2 large onions, finely chopped
    1 clove garlic, minced
    1 (3 1/2 oz.) can green chile peppers, minced
    1 tsp. sugar
    1 tsp. salt
    1 1/2 c. sharp cheese, grated
Preparation
    Combine all ingredients, except cheese, in a 2 1/2-quart, covered casserole.
    Cook in microwave oven for 45 minutes until sauce is thick enough for dipping.
    Stir every 10 minutes.
    Stir in cheese.
    Serve as hot dip with tortilla chips.
    Yields 3 cups.
