Pretzel Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. crushed pretzels
    3/4 c. melted margarine
    4 Tbsp. sugar (optional)
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
    1 c. sugar
    1 (8 oz.) container Cool Whip whipped topping, thawed
    1 large pkg. strawberry jello
    2 c. hot water
    2 (10 oz.) pkg. sweetened strawberries
Preparation
    Mix together the pretzels, melted margarine and 4 tablespoons of sugar; pat into a 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for 8 minutes; cool.
    Mix together the cream cheese, 1 cup sugar and Cool Whip, spread over the cooled pretzel crust and refrigerate.
    Mix the jello and water, stir until dissolved.
    Cool and add the strawberries.
    Place strawberry mixture in the refrigerator until almost set.
    Pour over the cream cheese mixture and refrigerate until serving time.
