Banana Split Dessert - cooking recipe
Ingredients

8 oz. cream cheese
2 c. vanilla wafers
2 sticks margarine
2 c. powdered sugar
4 large bananas
1 large can crushed pineapple
12 oz. carton Cool Whip
maraschino cherries or chocolate syrup
chopped nuts
Preparation

Mix 2 cups crushed wafers and 1 stick melted margarine.
Press into a 9
x 13-inch pan and chill.
Mix powdered sugar with 1 stick margarine and softened cream cheese.
(Best to mix with mixer.)
Spread mixture over cooled crumbs.
Slice bananas over mixture.
Drain pineapple and spread over bananas.
Top with Cool Whip.
Garnish with cherries or chocolate syrup drizzled over all. Sprinkle with nuts.
