Cream Cheese Frosting - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 to 3 oz. pkg. cream cheese
    1/2 c. softened butter or margarine
    2 tsp. vanilla
    4 3/4 c. sifted powdered sugar
Preparation
    In a mixing bowl, beat together cream cheese, margarine or butter and vanilla.
    Beat until light and fluffy.
    Gradually add 2 cups of powdered sugar, beating well.
    Slowly beat in enough of the remaining sugar to make the frosting spreadable.
    Frost the cake, topping with walnut halves.
    Cover and store in the refrigerator.
