Bridal Salad(Serves 12, Must Do Ahead) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. crushed pretzels
    1 c. margarine, melted
    3/4 c. sugar, divided
    1 (8 oz.) cream cheese, softened
    1 (9 oz.) Cool Whip, softened
    1 (6 oz.) pkg. strawberry jello
    2 c. boiling water
    2 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen strawberries
    lettuce (optional)
Preparation
    Combine pretzels, margarine and 3 tablespoons sugar.
    Press mixture in bottom of well oiled 12 x 9-inch dish.
    Bake 12 minutes at 400\u00b0.
    Cool.
