Lemon Verbena Tea Loaf - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. margarine
    1 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    1 1/2 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. milk
    grated rind and juice of 1 lemon
    2 Tbsp. lemon verbena leaves (dried leaves should be soaked in lemon juice)
Preparation
    Cream margarine, sugar and eggs.
    Sift flour, baking powder and salt.
    Add to batter alternately with milk.
    Add lemon juice and lemon verbena leaves.
    Bake in greased and floured loaf pan for 1 hour at 350\u00b0.
