Microwave Caramel Corn - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 qt. popped corn
    1 c. brown sugar
    1/2 c. margarine
    1/4 c. white corn syrup *
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. soda
    1/2 tsp. vanilla *
Preparation
    Spray inside of a large brown grocery bag with vegetable cooking spray (Pam).
    Pour popped corn into paper bag.
    In a bowl, combine brown sugar, margarine, corn syrup and salt.
    Microwave on High 2 1/2 minutes.
    Stir; microwave on High for 2 minutes.
    Stir in soda and add vanilla.
    Pour over popcorn in bag.
    Close bag and shake.
    Microwave on High for 1 1/2 minutes.
    Shake well and microwave for 1 minute more on High.
    Shake well.
    Add additional popcorn salt, if desired.
    Store in airtight container.
