Cloud Biscuits - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. sifted flour
1 Tbsp. sugar
4 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. shortening
1 beaten egg
3/4 c. milk (for drop biscuits) or 2/3 c. milk (for rolled biscuits)
Preparation

Sift together the dry ingredients.
Cut in shortening until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
Combine egg and milk; add to flour.
Mix all at once.
Stir until dough follows fork around bowl.
Place by tablespoonfuls on ungreased baking sheet (or roll out and cut with glass).
Bake at 450\u00b0 for 10 to 14 minutes.
If desired, can chill dough 1 to 3 hours before use.
Serves 8 to 10.
