Escalloped Potatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. frozen hash brown potatoes, thawed
    1/2 c. butter, melted
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1 can cream of chicken soup
    2 c. grated Cheddar cheese
    1/2 c. onion, chopped
    2 c. sour cream
    2 c. corn flakes, crushed
    1/4 c. butter, melted
Preparation
    Combine potatoes with 1/2 cup melted butter, salt, pepper, soup, cheese, onion and sour cream.
    Pour mixture into a 3-quart or large flat casserole. Mix together corn flakes and 1/4 cup melted butter. Pour over potato mixture.
    Bake 45 minutes in a 350\u00b0 oven.
    Serves 10 to 12.
    Can be frozen before baking.
