Peanut Brittle (2) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    1 c. light corn syrup
    1/2 c. water
    2 c. Spanish peanuts
    2 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 tsp. butter
Preparation
    Cook sugar, corn syrup and water to 280\u00b0, medium crack stage. Add peanuts, cook about 3 minutes or until light brown.
    Add baking soda, remove at once from heat. Add vanilla and butter.
    As soon as foaming has subsided, pour into buttered shallow pan.
