Meringue Nest With Raspberry Sorbet - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 egg whites, room temperature
    1 tsp. vanilla (add to egg whites)
    1/4 tsp. cream of tartar (add to egg whites)
    dash of salt
    1 c. sugar
Preparation
    Whip first 4 ingredients together gradually adding in sugar. Beat with mixer until stiff peaks form.
    Using an ice cream scoop, place meringue balls 1 inch apart on parchment paper on cookie sheet.
    Using the back of ice cream scoop, make an indent, making the meringue resemble nests.
    Bake in 275\u00b0 oven for 1 hour.
    Turn off oven and let dry in oven.
    Serve nest with one scoop of raspberry sherbet in nest with fresh fruit sprinkled over.
