Cranberry Orange Muffins - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/3 c. shortening
    1/4 c. sugar
    1 egg
    3/4 c. milk
    2 c. flour
    1/4 tsp. salt
    3 tsp. baking powder
    1/3 c. fresh cranberries
    1/2 orange
    3 Tbsp. sugar
Preparation
    Chop cranberries, orange and 3 tablespoons sugar together in food chopper.
    Cream shortening and 1/4 cup sugar; add well beaten egg.
    Alternately mix the dry ingredients with the milk; add.
    Add cranberry mixture and barely mix evenly.
    Bake at 425\u00b0 for 15 to 20 minutes.
