Baked Macaroni And Cheese - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    2 1/2 c. milk
    2 Tbsp. margarine
    1 1/2 c. (6 oz.) shredded Cheddar cheese
    8 oz. Mueller's elbow macaroni (about 1 3/4 c.), cooked 6 minutes and drained
    1/4 c. dried bread crumbs (optional)
Preparation
    In medium saucepan, combine cornstarch, salt and pepper; stir in milk until smooth.
    Add margarine.
    Stirring constantly, bring to a boil over medium-high heat and boil 1 minute.
    Remove from heat.
    Stir in cheese until melted.
    Add elbow macaroni.
    Turn into greased 2-quart casserole dish.
    Sprinkle with bread crumbs. Bake, uncovered, in 375\u00b0 oven for 25 minutes or until lightly browned.
    Yield: 6 servings.
