Chicken Liver Pate - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. chicken livers
    8 slices bacon
    2 small onions, chopped
    2 garlic cloves, crushed
    2 small bay leaves
    2 thyme sprigs
    salt to taste
    pepper to taste
    1/2 c. chicken stock
    2 Tbsp. brandy
Preparation
    Put chicken livers into a saucepan with the chopped slices of bacon.
    Add onions, garlic, bay leaves, thyme, salt, pepper and chicken stock.
    Cover the pan and cook over low heat, stirring occasionally, for 15 minutes.
    Remove the bay leaves.
    Pour the mixture into a blender; add brandy.
    Blend to a smooth paste; do not underblend.
    Chill overnight.
