Strata - cooking recipe
Ingredients

8 slices bread
2 to 3 Tbsp. butter
2 c. shredded cheese
2 c. shredded Monterey Jack
1 lb. bulk sausage
6 eggs
2 c. milk
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 tsp. paprika
1 tsp. oregano
1/2 tsp. pepper
1/2 tsp. dry mustard
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
Preparation

Cut the crust from the bread. Then butter bottom side and place in 9 x 13 pan. Sprinkle cheese and cooked and drained sausage over bread. Mix eggs, milk and other seasonings. Beat well; pour over bread, sausage and cheese. Cover and refrigerate overnight. Bake at 325\u00b0 for 50 to 55 minutes. Cool 10 minutes and cut.
