Open-Faced Sandwiches - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. hamburger
    1/2 c. onions, grated
    1/2 c. grated cheese or more
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Mix well and spread thin layer on halves of buttered hamburger buns.
    Broil open-faced until done.
    You may want to put on lower rack for 5 minutes or so to be sure underside of meat mixture is cooked.
