Sally Jessy'S Stuffed French Toast - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. firm day old white sandwich bread
    12 large eggs
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
    1 1/2 c. milk
    1/3 c. pure maple syrup
Preparation
    Grease 13 x 9-inch baking dish.
    Cut bread into cubes.
    Spread half the bread into prepared pan.
    Cut cheese into small cubes and sprinkle half over bread in the pan.
    Repeat, layering with remaining bread and cheese.
    Whisk the eggs, milk and syrup in large bowl.
    Pour over bread.
    Cover and refrigerate overnight. Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Bake, uncovered, 30 to 40 minutes, until knife inserted in center comes out clean.
    Let stand 15 minutes. Serve warm with additional syrup.
