Ruth'S Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 sticks butter (not margarine)
    1 egg
    1 c. white sugar
    1 c. brown sugar
    3 1/2 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. salt
    1 c. salad oil
    1 c. Quaker oats
    1 c. corn flakes, crushed
    1/2 c. flaked coconut
    1/2 c. chopped pecans
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Cream butter with white and brown sugar and the egg.
    Combine the baking soda and salt with flour.
    Add flour mixture alternately with oil.
    To the butter mixture, add rest of ingredients; mix well.
    Drop by teaspoon on ungreased cookie sheet.
    Bake 12 to 15 minutes at 325\u00b0.
    Makes approximately 75 cookies.
