Beef Stew - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 lb. beef stew
1/2 c. shortening
4 to 6 potatoes
6 to 8 carrots
1 large onion
1 can peas
2 tsp. salt
pepper to taste
1/2 tsp. soy sauce
2 tsp. A.1. sauce
1 1/2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
2 tsp. Kitchen Bouquet
Preparation

Rinse meat; leave moist.
Dredge in flour.
Melt shortening and brown meat; makes thick gravy.
Put water to cover meat.
Add sauces (last 4 ingredients).
Cook slow until done, then add vegetables.
Cook until done.
Add can of peas at last.
