Milan Pineapple Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 egg whites
    1 c. sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
    21 Ritz crackers, rolled fine with rolling pin
    2/3 c. crushed pecans or walnuts
    8 oz. can crushed pineapple, drained
    3/4 c. confectioners sugar
    1 pt. heavy cream or 2 c. Cool Whip
    8 oz. cream cheese
Preparation
    Beat whites until stiff, add sugar a little at a time.
    Add vanilla.
    Fold crackers and nuts into egg white mixture.
    Pour into 10-inch pie pan (preferably glass).
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
    Let cool completely.
