Chicken Soup With Herbs - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 whole chicken
    1 tsp. salt
    1 small can cooked pimentos, diced
    3/4 c. diced celery
    3/4 c. chopped cabbage
    1/2 c. (fresh or frozen) peas
    1/2 c. onion
    2 c. tomatoes (whole)
    1 tsp. parsley flakes
    1/2 tsp. basil
    1 bay leaf
    1/2 tsp. tarragon
    1/2 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    Cook chicken with salt.
    Remove skin and bones.
    Put chicken pieces back in broth.
    Add pimentos, celery, cabbage, peas and onion.
    After ingredients are tender, add tomatoes and herbs. Re-heating has a tendency to make herbs stronger.
