Fudgy Bonbons - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 (12 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips
1/4 c. butter or margarine
1 (14 oz.) can sweetened condensed milk (not evaporated)
2 c. flour
1/2 c. finely chopped nuts
1 tsp. vanilla
60 milk chocolate candy kisses or white/chocolate striped candy kisses, unwrapped
2 oz. white baking bar or vanilla flavored candy coating
1 tsp. shortening or oil
1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. water
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 c. water
1 c. light corn syrup
3 Tbsp. butter or margarine
1 lb. shelled unroasted peanuts

Preparation

Butter 2 baking sheets, each 15 1/2 x 12-inch; keep warm. Combine baking soda, 1 teaspoon water and the vanilla; set aside.
