Scalloped Cabbage And Cheese - cooking recipe

1 medium cabbage, shredded
2 c. grated Cheddar cheese
1/4 c. presifted flour
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
1/2 c. butter
2 c. milk
1/2 c. bread crumbs
boiling salt water
butter or margarine
Preparation

Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
Grease a 1 1/2-quart casserole.
Put cabbage in saucepan; sprinkle with a few tablespoons of boiling salted water.
Cover; simmer over medium heat for 8 minutes. Drain well.
In mixing bowl, blend cheese, flour, salt and pepper.
