Squash Marshmallow-Pecan Squares - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 small acorn squash
    1/3 c. cracker crumbs
    1/4 c. chopped pecans
    3 Tbsp. butter or margarine, melted
    1 Tbsp. brown sugar
    1 tsp. nutmeg
    2 Tbsp. butter or margarine, melted
    1 c. small marshmallows
Preparation
    Wash and halve squash; discard seeds and fiber.
    Place squash, cut side up in 12 x 7 x 2-inch or 9 x 9-inch baking dish.
    Combine cracker crumbs, pecans, butter, sugar and nutmeg.
    Brush squash with remaining butter.
    Spoon 2 tablespoons nut mixture into each half.
    Bake covered at 400\u00b0 for 30 to 40 minutes until tender. Uncover.
    Top each half with 1/4 cup marshmallows.
    Bake 5 minutes or until marshmallows are puffed and golden.
    Makes 4 servings.
