Buttermilk Rolls - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 pkg. dry yeast
1 tsp. sugar
1/4 c. warm water
1 c. warm buttermilk
1/4 tsp. baking soda
1/4 c. cooking oil
1/4 c. sugar
1 tsp. salt
3 c. flour
Preparation

Dissolve yeast and 1 teaspoon sugar in the warm water.
Add 1/4 cup sugar, salt, cooking oil and soda to buttermilk.
Add yeast mixture.
Add flour to make soft dough and knead on floured board until smooth.
Cover with cloth and let rest 15 minutes.
Shape as desired.
Put in a greased pan in a warm place 1 1/2 hours or until doubled.
Bake at 375\u00b0.
Brush with butter and serve.
Dough will keep several days in refrigerator.
Makes 1 1/2 to 2 dozen rolls.
