Audrey'S Tea Cake Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. margarine (2 sticks)
    1 c. Crisco oil
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. powdered sugar
    2 eggs
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. cream of tartar
    2 tsp. vanilla or lemon flavoring
    5 c. all-purpose flour
    chopped pecans (optional)
    peanut butter chips (optional)
    chocolate chips (optional)
Preparation
    Put first five ingredients
    in
    large
    mixing
    bowl and cream well.
    Add next four ingredients and cream until smooth. Batter may be separated into thirds.
    Add pecans to one-third, peanut butter
    chips to
    one-third
    and
    chocolate
    chips
    to one-third. This
    makes
    variety
    of
    cookies.
    However,
    the cookies are very good plain.
    Drop by spoonful, about the size of large walnut, onto greased cookie
    sheet.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for about 10 minutes.
    Store in tight container.
