Layered Cauliflower Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 medium head cauliflower
    1 large purple onion, chopped
    1/3 c. grated Parmesan cheese
    1 c. Miracle Whip
    1 medium head lettuce
    1/2 lb. bacon
    3 Tbsp. sugar
Preparation
    Wash cauliflower; cut into flowerets; tear lettuce into bite-size pieces, chop onions, cook and crumble bacon.
    Layer lettuce, onion, cauliflower and bacon in a 3-quart bowl.
    Combine Miracle Whip and sugar; mix well.
    Spread evenly over top sealing to edge of bowl.
    Sprinkle with cheese.
    Top with chopped lettuce and onion.
    Cover salad tightly and refrigerate 24 hours.
    Toss gently before serving.
