Mother'S Double Deckers - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3/4 c. butter
3/4 c. sugar
1 egg
2 tsp. ginger
1 c. molasses
4 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. soda
Preparation

Mix butter and sugar well.
Add egg and molasses.
Beat until light.
Add dry ingredients that have been sifted together.
Roll out on floured board.
Cut half of dough with donut cutter, the other half with regular biscuit cutter.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 10 minutes.
Cool.
