Rhubarb Dessert - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1 Tbsp. Minute tapioca
    1 c. water
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. flour
    1 c. brown sugar
    3/4 c. oatmeal
    1/2 c. butter or margarine
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    4 c. rhubarb
Preparation
    Cook until clear and thick, sugar, tapioca, water and vanilla. Blend together flour, brown sugar, oatmeal, butter or margarine, cinnamon and rhubarb.
    Press half of crumb mixture firmly into a greased 9-inch square pan; distribute 4 cups of rhubarb evenly over that, then pour thickened syrup over rhubarb.
    Top with remaining crumbs.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 40 to 45 minutes.
