Squash Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. squash
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1 egg
    1 tsp. sugar
    1 c. mayonnaise
    1 c. grated Cheddar cheese
    1/2 stick margarine
    cracker crumbs
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Cook and drain squash.
    Cook onion with squash.
    Mash, add sugar, egg, mayonnaise and 1/2 cup cheese.
    Salt and pepper to taste.
    Pour in casserole dish.
    Make topping of 1/2 cup cheese, cracker crumbs and melted margarine.
