Broccoli Onion Casserole - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 (10 oz.) pkg. cut broccoli
2 c. whole small onions
4 Tbsp. butter
2 Tbsp. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
dash of pepper
1 c. milk
1 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
1 c. soft bread crumbs
1/4 c. grated Parmesan cheese
Preparation

Cook broccoli and drain.
Cook onions until tender and drain. In saucepan, melt 2 tablespoons butter.
Blend flour, salt and pepper.
Add to saucepan.
Add milk.
Cook and stir until thick and bubbly.
Reduce heat and add cream cheese until smooth.
Stir in vegetables.
Turn into 1 1/2-quart casserole.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 20 minutes.
Melt remaining butter.
Toss with bread crumbs and cheese and sprinkle over casserole.
Then bake 15 to 20 minutes more.
