Aunt Lee'S Tea Cakes - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. shortening
1 c. sugar
1 egg
3 c. flour
1/4 tsp. baking powder
1/2 c. milk
1/2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Cream shortening and sugar.
Add egg; beat well.
Sift flour, salt and baking powder.
Add alternately with milk.
Add vanilla. Mix well.
Roll lightly on floured surface to 1/8-inch thickness. Bake at 350\u00b0.
