Spicy Peach Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (16 oz.) can peaches
    1 (3 oz.) pkg. peach Jell-O
    1/4 c. sugar
    1/4 tsp. cinnamon
    1/8 tsp. cloves
    1 c. boiling water
    3/4 c. peach syrup
    2 Tbsp. vinegar
Preparation
    Drain peaches, reserving syrup.
    Mash peaches.
    Dissolve dry ingredients in boiling water.
    Add peach syrup and vinegar.
    Add pecans.
    Mix well.
    Whole maraschino cherries add color or garnish with canned crab apples, if desired.
    Chill until firm.
