Cream Caramels - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. chopped nuts
2 c. sugar
3/4 c. light corn syrup
1/2 c. butter
1 c. cream (heavy)
1 more c. heavy cream (for later)
Preparation

Sprinkle nuts on buttered 8-inch pan.
Mix in saucepan, all ingredients except last cup of cream.
Bring to boil over low heat, stirring constantly.
Then add the last cup cream.
Continue to stir mixture as it thickens and cook to 250\u00b0 or until a hard ball is formed when dropped in cold water.
Remove from heat and pour over nuts in pan.
When cold, cut in squares and wrap in squares of wax paper.
