Candied Apples - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    2/3 c. light corn syrup
    1 c. water
    1/4 c. red cinnamon candies
Preparation
    Create a syrup of 2 cups sugar, 2/3 cup corn syrup and water. Add cinnamon candies for color and flavor.
    Stir mixture until dissolved.
    Boil and simmer, covered, for 3 minutes.
    Uncover and cook to just under the hard crack stage.
    Keep pan over warm water.
