Golden Chiffon Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. sifted Gold Medal flour
1 1/2 c. sugar
3 tsp. double acting baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1/2 c. Mazola oil
7 unbeaten egg yolks
3/4 c. water
2 tsp. grated lemon rind
2 tsp. vanilla
1 c. egg whites (7 to 8)
1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
Preparation

Sift together flour, sugar, baking powder and salt.
Make a well and add in order salad oil, egg yolks, water, lemon rind and vanilla.
Beat with spoon until smooth.
Place egg whites and cream of tartar in large mixing bowl.
Whip until whites form extra stiff peaks.
(Do not underbeat.)
