Cranberry-Orange Preserves(Microwave) - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 c. sugar
2 (15 oz.) cans whole cranberry sauce
2 oranges, thinly sliced
3 sticks cinnamon, broken in half
3 tsp. powdered fruit pectin
Preparation

In a 2-quart microwavable bowl, combine sugar and sauce from whole cranberries; mix well.
Microwave on High 8 to 10 minutes or until mixture comes to a full boil.
Add orange slices.
Microwave on High 7 to 8 minutes or until orange peels are tender.
Add cranberries, pectin and cinnamon sticks.
Cover with plastic wrap. Microwave on High 5 to 7 minutes or until mixture thickens.
Stir well and pour into sterilized jars.
Seal.
