Pork Chops With Red Onions And Cranberries - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 (3/4-inch thick) pork chops
    1 1/2 tsp. drained thyme
    2 tsp. butter
    2 tsp. oil
    1/2 c. unsalted chicken broth
    flour
    1 1/3 c. cranberries
    1 large red onion
    1 c. unsweetened apple juice
    butter
Preparation
    Pat pork chops dry and rub with thyme, salt and pepper.
    Melt 2 teaspoons butter and oil in skillet over medium-high heat. Dredge chops in flour; cook until brown (2 minutes).
    Transfer to plate.
    Wipe out pan; add 1 stick butter and melt.
    Add onion; cook until brown.
    Add apple juice and boil.
    Add cranberries. Put in pork.
    Reduce heat and cover.
    Simmer 30 minutes.
