Snickerdoodles(Makes 6 Dozen) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. shortening (part butter)
    1/2 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    2 3/4 c. Gold Medal flour
    2 tsp. cream of tartar
    1 tsp. soda
    1/4 tsp. salt
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    2 tsp. cinnamon
Preparation
    Heat oven to 400\u00b0.
    Mix shortening, sugar and eggs thoroughly. Sift together flour, cream of tartar, soda and salt.
    Form into 1-inch balls.
    Roll in mixture of 2 tablespoons sugar and cinnamon.
    Place about 2 inches apart on ungreased baking sheet. Bake 8 to 10 minutes.
