Microwave Toffee - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. finely chopped pecans
    1/2 c. butter
    1 c. sugar
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 c. water
    3/4 c. semi-sweet chocolate morsels
    1/4 c. finely chopped nuts
Preparation
    Sprinkle 1/2 cup pecans in a 9-inch circle on a greased sheet; set aside.
    Coat top 2 inches of a 2 1/2 quart glass bowl with butter. Put rest in bowl.
    Add sugar, salt and water.
    Do not stir!
    Microwave at High 11 minutes or until light brown.
    Pour over pecans.
    Sprinkle on chocolate chips.
    Sprinkle with the 1/4 cup other nuts.
    Chill until firm.
    Break into bite size pieces. Yields 1 pound.
