Alma'S Favorite Tea Cakes - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. sugar
1/2 c. butter
1 egg
2 Tbsp. ice water
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. cream of tartar (must!)
1/2 tsp. soda
2 1/4 c. Gold Medal flour, twice sifted
1/4 tsp. salt
Preparation

Cream butter and sugar until fluffy.
Add egg, water and vanilla.
Mix dry ingredients together.
Gradually mix in with wet ingredients.
Chill 40 minutes (important).
Roll and cut out as desired.
Prick tops with fork.
Bake on lightly greased cookie sheet at 350\u00b0 until lightly browned.
