Strawberry Jello Sponge Cake - cooking recipe

1 large box strawberry Jell-O
2 c. boiling water
1 large angel food cake
1 lb. sliced strawberries
1 large container Cool Whip
Preparation

Mix Jell-O and water.
Add strawberries.
Let set while you tear up the cake into small pieces, placing in a 9 x 13-inch cake pan.
Pour Jell-O mixture over cake.
Refrigerate until firm. Spread Cool Whip on top.
You can use sugar-free Jell-O and lite Cool Whip and have a very low calorie, fat free dessert.
