Hot Fruit - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. brown sugar
    1/3 c. butter, melted
    1 can pear halves, drained
    1 can apricot halves, drained
    1 can sliced pineapple chunks
    1 can peaches, sliced
    1 jar maraschino cherries
    1 pkg. sliced almonds (2 1/4 oz.)
Preparation
    Combine sugar and butter. Set aside. Layer fruit and nuts in a 2-quart casserole dish. Pour butter mixture over fruit. Bake at 325\u00b0 for 1 hour. Remove from oven and let cool.
