Pralines - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. white sugar
    3/4 c. brown sugar
    1/2 c. evaporated milk
    1/2 stick butter or margarine
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 c. pecans
    pinch of salt
Preparation
    Cook sugar, salt and milk until it comes to a rolling boil. Add butter.
    Let it remain on fire until butter has completely melted.
    Remove from fire and beat for a few minutes until it begins to thicken. Add vanilla and nuts.
    Drop by teaspoon on wax paper.
    If it gets too hard to drop, return to fire and re-melt.
