Garlic Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    kosher dill pickles (small)
    garlic (small cloves)
    sugar
    1/4 c. vinegar
Preparation
    Slice pickles into 1/4-inch slices.
    Layer pickles in pint jar to 1 1/2-inch layer.
    Cut garlic over pickles (3 small).
    Sprinkle 5 tablespoons sugar over pickles.
    Continue layers until jar is full.
    Pour vinegar over all.
    Refrigerate.
    Shake jar often. Ready to eat third day.
