Mama'S Meat Loaf - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. lean ground beef
    1 c. canned tomatoes and juice, chopped
    3/4 c. uncooked oatmeal (old fashioned)
    1 egg, slightly beaten
    1/4 c. chopped onion
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Combine all ingredients; mix lightly but thoroughly.
    Press into an 8 x 4-inch loaf pan.
    Bake 1 hour; drain juices.
    Let stand 5 minutes; slice and serve.
