Green Bean Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. sliced mushrooms
    1/2 c. margarine
    1 c. light cream
    1/8 tsp. hot pepper sauce
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    1 tsp. flavored enhancer (optional)
    3 or 4 frozen French-cut green beans
    1/2 c. almonds
    1 medium onion, chopped
    1/4 c. flour
    3/4 c. sharp Cheddar cheese, grated
    2 tsp. soy sauce
    1 tsp. salt
    5 oz. sliced water chestnuts
Preparation
    Saute mushrooms and onions in margarine.
    Add flour and cook until smooth.
    Add cream slowly, then cheese and seasoning. Simmer until cheese melts.
    Cook green beans in salt water.
    Drain and mix with sauce.
    Add water chestnuts and top with slivered almonds.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 20 minutes.
    Can be made ahead; refrigerate.
    Then bake 35 to 40 minutes.
