Meat Loaf - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    2 slices fresh bread
    1 egg
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    Break up bread in a bowl and moisten with hot water.
    Beat egg and add seasoning and mix thoroughly.
    Add bread mixture to meat and mix.
    Add egg mixture and blend well.
    Add small amount of milk to mixture to make a smooth consistency.
    Pour into loaf pan and shape.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
