Oatmeal Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. boiling water
    1 c. oatmeal
    1/2 c. shortening or margarine
    1 c. brown sugar
    1 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    1 1/2 c. flour
    1 tsp. soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. cinnamon
Preparation
    Pour boiling water over oatmeal and let stand.
    Cream shortening or margarine, brown sugar, sugar and eggs.
    Sift flour, soda, salt and cinnamon together.
    Add to creamed mixture and then add the oatmeal.
    Bake in 350\u00b0 oven for 30 minutes.
