Ingredients

1 c. sugar
4 Tbsp. cornstarch
3 Tbsp. cocoa
1 1/2 c. lite evaporated milk
pinch of salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1 egg or 1/4 c. egg substitute

Preparation

Cook sugar, cornstarch, cocoa and milk until thickened.
Beat eggs slightly and add some of the hot mixture.
Continue to add hot mixture a little at a time until all is added.
Continue cooking until thick; add vanilla.
Pour into baked pie shell.
